Plant Spotlight: Pepper - Lemon Spice Jalapeno

Grew these last year and they were a hit with folks who like it spicy. Spicier than your regular jalapeño and a bright lemon yellow color, there’s no citrus taste here. Makes a beautiful yellow hot sauce.

Growing notes:

• Peppers need 8 + hours of sunlight and lots of compost.

• Lemon spice jalapeños mature in the high heat of July with the fruit starting green and slowly changing to yellow.

• Plants can grow tall enough to need a stake.
