Plant Spotlight: Cilantro
A fun annual that can pack a punch for guacamole, salads, curries and other dishes. Once the plant is bolted, you can dig it up and use the roots in Thai dishes. At least, that’s what I’m going to try this year!
Growing notes:
• Cilantro will bolt in the heat of the summer, so if you want to keep it growing for longer, try planting it next to a bean plant, where it’ll catch some shade.
• Needs medium grade soil.
• Likes a regular watering.
