Plant Spotlight: Chamomile

Chamomile can be used to make tea and as a way to attract pollinators to your garden. Aristocrats in Tudor and Stuart England liked chamomile so much they planted it in spreads covering whole lawns where they’d play games.

Growing notes:

• Needs partial shade and frequent watering. Try to avoid planting in a location where the chamomile will get the full force of Georgia’s summer sun. My chamomile plants thrived until July when the afternoon sun got them — whoops!
