How to store … Basil

Storing basil is a little tricky. Too much moisture and the leaves start to turn black, not enough and the leaves turn limp and floppy. Making a bouquet of basil, with stems in a small glass of water in the fridge can help it last more than 4 days. Basil also dries very well, but my favorite thing to do with extra basil is to make and freeze pesto.
